“Indeed, We have revealed to you, as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him...and We gave to David the Psalms.”
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ مِنَّا فَضْلًا ۖ يَا جِبَالُ أَوِبِي مَعَهُ وَالطَّيْرَ ۖ وَأَسَلْنَا لَهُ عَيْنَ الْقِطْرِ
“And We certainly gave David favor from Us. O mountains, repeat [Our] praises with him, and the birds [as well]. And We made pliable for him the melted copper.”
وَدَاوُودَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ إِذْ يَحْكُمَانِ فِي الْحَرْثِ إِذْ نَفَشَتْ فِيهِ غَنَمُ الْقَوْمِ
“And [mention] David and Solomon, when they judged concerning the field when the sheep of the people had grazed therein [at night].”
