من (غ ف ر) مركب إضافي من غفور فعول مفعول أي مغفور، والحق من أسماء الله تعالى فيكون الذي غفر له الحق كثيرا.
Ghafur Al-Haq is a compound name formed from two Arabic elements. 'Ghafur' (غفور) derives from the root غ-ف-ر (gh-f-r), meaning 'the Forgiving One' or 'the Pardoner,' and is one of the 99 Names of Allah. 'Al-Haq' (الحق) literally means 'The Truth' and also refers to God's attribute of absolute truth and reality. Together, the name suggests someone who has been extensively forgiven by The Truth itself, or carries the qualities of divine forgiveness tempered with truth and justice. The name emphasizes both mercy and truthfulness as integrated divine attributes.

Different spellings and forms of Ghafur Al-Haq across languages
While 'Ghafur Al-Haq' as a complete compound name does not appear as such in the Quran, both of its constituent elements are Quranic. 'Al-Haq' (The Truth) appears throughout the Quran as one of Allah's divine attributes, emphasizing God's absolute truth and reality. 'Ghafur' and its variants (Al-Ghafur, Ghaffar) also appear multiple times in the Quran referring to God's attribute of forgiveness and pardoning. The concept of combining these two attributes—forgiveness and truth—reflects Islamic theological principles where divine mercy and justice are balanced.
