Raoufah is the feminine form of the Arabic adjective Ra'uf (رؤوف), which means compassionate, merciful, and tender-hearted. The name is derived from the Arabic root R-A-F (ر-أ-ف), which encompasses meanings of mercy, compassion, and gentleness. The suffix -ah (-ة) makes it specifically feminine, emphasizing these qualities in a woman. This is a variant spelling of the more commonly seen Raoufah or Raoufeh.
